“Hello”
Alex Jager smiled as he heard Jason’s voice on his cell phone. Despite their close friendship during high school, they hadn’t talked in almost six months and hadn’t seen each other since Jason’s wedding. Alex had thought about stopping by a few times, but his job kept him on the road.
“You guys got a house? That’s great! A month from now? Yeah, I’ll be there. Talk to ya then. I have some hunting to do.”
Alex hung up his phone and smiled as he closed the trunk of his car, pumping his shotgun and disappearing into the woods.
